Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 1, 2026
Asala Calendar ("Asala", "the app") is an offline calendar app for Android, developed by Arishawke. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information.
Summary
Asala collects no personal data. It contains no ads, no analytics, and no trackers. It declares no internet permission, so it is technically incapable of sending any information off your device. Nothing you enter into Asala leaves your phone through the app.
Information the app accesses
All access below happens locally on your device. None of it is collected, transmitted, or shared by Asala.
- Calendar events. Asala reads and writes your events through Android's system calendar (the Calendar Provider). It keeps no separate database of its own. These are the same events every other calendar app on your device can see. If you have set up a sync account yourself (for example Google, Exchange, or CalDAV through the DAVx5 app), the syncing of those events is performed by Android and that account provider, not by Asala, and is governed by their privacy policies.
- Reminders. Notifications and reminder alarms are scheduled locally on your device.
- Settings. Your preferences (theme, default reminders, and similar) are stored locally on your device.
Permissions and why the app requests them
- Read and write calendar to show and edit your events.
- Notifications to display event reminders.
- Exact alarms to fire reminders at the precise time you set.
- Run after restart to restore your scheduled reminders after the phone reboots.
Data collection and sharing
Asala collects no data and shares no data. There is no account to create and nothing is sent to the developer or any third party.
Children
Asala is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone.
